Swiss-made magnesium: quality, traceability, effectiveness

Why choosing Swiss magnesium makes all the difference
Today, the market for food supplements is immense... but not all products are created equal. Between low-cost imported products, opaque compositions, and exaggerated claims, it's hard to know what to choose.
At FooDly, we made a clear choice: to manufacture our magnesium in Switzerland. And it's not just a matter of patriotism; it's a matter of quality, traceability, and effectiveness.
🇨🇭 1. Made in Switzerland = a guarantee of strict quality
In Switzerland, food supplements are subject to rigorous standards, notably those of the Food Additives Ordinance (OCAl) of the FOPH【OFSP, admin.ch】.
This guarantees:
- the safety of ingredients,
- certified manufacturing processes (ISO, GMP),
- authorized and controlled formulation.
At FooDly, our magnesium is produced in Marin-Epagnier (NE) by a Swiss company certified ISO 22000 and GMP, two internationally recognized labels for production quality.
🔍 2. Total traceability, from raw material to bottle
Traceability is a requirement in Switzerland. Every ingredient is documented, every batch is controlled. Result: you know exactly what you're consuming.
Our formula:
- No raw materials of animal origin
- No GMOs, no allergens, no irradiation
- A clear labeling, without vague marketing terms
- And manufacturing compliant with Swiss and European standards
💡 We even add a legal disclaimer to the label:
"Magnesium preparations may have laxative effects."
This is a requirement in Switzerland for any formula containing more than 250 mg of magnesium.
⚡ 3. Optimized efficacy… thanks to the right formulation
Swiss magnesium is good. But good Swiss magnesium is better.
Our formula contains:
- Magnesium citrate → very well absorbed
- Magnesium malate → promotes cellular energy
- Magnesium glycerophosphate → very well tolerated by the digestive system
- Vitamin B6, Vitamin C and Taurine → to enhance natural effectiveness
📚 The EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) confirms the effectiveness of these forms for:
- reducing fatigue,
- supporting the nervous system,
- maintaining normal muscle function
